BROADWAY PERFORMANCES SUSPENDED

Under the direction of Governor Andrew Cuomo, Broadway shows in New York City will suspend all performances immediately in support of the health and well-being of the theatre going public, as well as those who work in the theatre industry. Performances will commence the week of April 13, 2020.

If you purchased tickets from Telecharge for a suspended performance between March 12, 2020 and April 12, 2020, your tickets will be automatically refunded back to your credit card. Please be patient as we process refunds; it may take some time for the refund to appear on your credit card statement. There is no need to contact Telecharge about your tickets.

If you bought tickets at a box office with a credit card, your tickets will be automatically refunded back to your card. The box office is closed until further notice, but please check our website and social channels for future updates.

The Telecharge customer service line is +1 212-239-6210 and they will be able to assist you with any questions.

If you did not purchase your tickets through Telecharge, please contact your original point of purchase for refund information.

In the wake of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s ordered shutdown of all Broadway theaters through April 12, 2020, The Minutes is currently in the process of refunding all affected group orders in the coming days and weeks. We are also prepared to accommodate any displaced groups at performances beginning Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

General Show Information

The Minutes is recommended for ages 14 and up.

Photography, video, and sound recordings of any kind are strictly prohibited during the performance.

1 hour and 30 minutes with no intermission.

Venue Information

The Cort Theatre provides accommodations for patrons who are blind, deaf, partially sighted, and/or have hearing loss. The theatre provides infrared assistive listening devices for every performance at the theatre. In addition, beginning four weeks after a show’s official opening night performance, hand-held audio description devices and hand-held captioning devices are available, and there is unlimited access to downloadable audio description and/or captioning for personal mobile devices free of charge. (Hand-held devices are limited, although additional devices can be obtained with at least twenty-four hours’ notice.) If you have questions, contact Shubert Audience Services at 212-944-3700 or audienceservices@shubertorg.com. There is also a representative at the Shubert Audience Services kiosk at every performance to assist any patron with any of our devices, software, or technology.

There is no dress code at the theatre. For all performances, attire should be comfortable and appropriate for the occasion. The theatre is air-conditioned during the summer months.

Animals are not permitted in the theatre, but an exception is made for guide dogs and service animals. Please inform your ticket sales representative if any accommodations are required.

Theatre is not completely wheelchair accessible. There are no steps into the theatre.

Orchestra Location:
Seating is accessible to all parts of the Orchestra without steps.

Mezzanine Location:
Up 2 flights of stairs. Please note: On the Mezzanine level there are approximately 2 steps down per row. Entrance to Mezzanine is behind Row H.

Balcony Location:
Up 3 flights of stairs. Please note: On the Balcony level there are approximately 2 steps down per row. Entrance to Balcony is behind Row F.

Handrails:
Available at the end of every stepped seat row in the Mezzanine and Balcony.

Security

For the protection of our patrons and theatre, managers are on duty during all performances.

All patrons will be screened prior to entering the theatre. Please see below for a list of prohibited items.

Prohibited Items
Do not carry any of these items into the security screening area. Items that are confiscated will not be returned. If you are unsure about any item, do not bring it to the theatre.

  • All weapons are strictly prohibited, including but not limited to: firearms, ammunition, knives, swords, scissors, OC spray (mace), any dangerous items, and weapons of any kind
  • Outside food or beverage
  • Large professional cameras or video recording equipment
  • Flashlights or laser pointers
  • Illegal substances
  • Noise making devices or fireworks

The Cort Theatre has the right to refuse entry if any of the above is not adhered to.
